I Tried Solar Energy and Here's What I Learned

Why did you choose to go solar?
Basically it was because we had high electric bills. We also have a pool, and during the summer we have the filter on all the time, we have our AC on, it was just costing us a lot of money. So we thought we’d look into how much money we’d save by switching to solar energy.
Are you saving any money with solar energy?
Yes, absolutely. We’ve had solar energy for about 2 years now, and the savings we get each month ends up paying for the installment. We haven’t had an electric bill in months. We actually ended up making a bit of profit by selling the excess energy back to the electric company.
How did you get a quote for solar panels?
We looked at several different places, about four or five companies. We wanted to be able to compare rates. And a lot of them made it seem really complicated. But we ended up with Solar Me because they made everything so easy. They were also really personable, and they remembered who we were.
Do you lease or own your solar panels?
